It has recently been submitted to the Commissione Tributaria Provinciale of Venice by the Confedilizia the first of a series of pleas against the provision issued last summer by Veritas about the updating of the Tari fee appliable to the tourist appartments in Venice. In this document the tourist apartments are made equal to the category “hotels without restaurant” and the Tari fee could be double than the amount due previously. This measure would be 5-year retroactive, regardless the real occupancy of the apartment. In the plea, the lawyers propose to Veritas to apply to the tourist apartments the maximum fee established for the non residential domestic category. The decision of the Commissione Tributaria will follow, hoping in a quick solution of the issue.
