Personal income tax rates (IRPEF) and income brackets

The personal income tax (IRPEF) is the income tax, proportional to the income received during the year.

To know how much is the total tax to pay you have to apply a rate reference. Calculated as a percentage, Irpef varies according to the income bracket in which you fall.

The personal income tax brackets are also used to calculate the tax deductions to which the taxpayer is entitled according on the income received.
